When I began blogging in the summer of 2010, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had no goals for how many followers I wanted, where I wanted to blog to go, etc. I was just doing it for the fun of it.

NEW Blog Design
Not much has changed since then! I still blog for the fun of it, but a few months ago, I thought, “If by some crazy chance, I got to 500 followers, I would start thinking about advertising…”
Well, I’m almost there! WEIRD! I can’t believe I’m at almost 500 followers…it’s so bizarre to me. So first, THANK YOU to all of you who have taken some time out of your day to read what I have to say. You have encouraged me and inspired me more than you know!
And yes, I am going to figure out how to get advertising set up sometime soon-ish. Just to let you know.
Part of my blog “growing up” was getting a blog design done by a real professional. I was really against this in the beginning. I couldn’t justify spending money on my blog when it wasn’t making me any money!! Since I had some funds in my PayPal account, I looked into pricing. Let me just tell you that it’s crazy how much money you can spend on blog design! Since I am a super cheap/thrifty person, of course I looked for the best deal
Then, I heard angels sing when I saw Courtney‘s pricing. Not only does she have a super fun and cute blog (she just got 500 followers too!), but she does blog design for SUCH great prices! I contacted her to see if this was really true…and she made my blogging dreams come true
She was so patient with my indecisiveness, and I gave her vague ideas which she turned into a beautiful reality! Don’t you LOVE my new design?! I am IN LOVE. Seriously, it’s sad how excited I am about this!
Now that I’ve done it, I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner! Courtney is wonderful, and I feel like my blog looks so much more put-together and authentic.
PLEASE run over to Courtney’s page and follow her, and consider having her do some blog design for you! She does whole packages, or “a la carte”…and she’s a true joy to work with.
THANK YOU, COURTNEY!!
