Well, after 3 years, my husband graduated from Westminister Theological Seminary! And I’ll brag on him for a minute…he ended with a 3.9 GPA too…so proud of him!
The night before graduation, the school held a dinner (which we got into for FREE – because my husband also works for the seminary…woohoo!) We got to get dressed up, but it was at a place close to my school, and I didn’t have time to go home and get ready…so I did my hair in my classroom like any dork would do
And because I like to post thrifty things on this blog…I’ll let you know that my dress cost $7 on a Kohls super clearance sale, and I had the belt and the shirt
The graduates all got up individually and spoke about their plans for after graduation.
A Westminister alum spoke, and did an amazing job! Then, we ate too much food. Ugh.
Then the next day, I took a personal day and got to see my husband actually get his diploma and officially graduate!!
His grandma came…we love her
Here’s 2 of my sibs…we were minus my youngest brother:
And then we had a lovely picnic lunch with family…so fun!
I feel incredibly blessed today…in case you missed the big news, we found out the morning that my husband graduated that he got approved for a full-time position at the seminary that he attended!! He’s been working part-time for them, and working 2 other part-time retail jobs, and this full-time position is just a complete answer to prayer. We’re SO excited!!
