This past week has been so much fun, I wanted to share just a few highlights with all of you!
Last Tuesday (the 22nd) I turned 26. We still had school, but it was the day before Thanksgiving break so we had a Thanksgiving feast with my class. SO FUN! We had the kids dress up like Pilgrims and Indians, and we had them try all of the traditional Thanksgiving foods. One of the things they tried was leftover turkey from my house, because my hubby made me a 23 lb. turkey for the occasion!
We then went to my in-laws house on Wednesday night, spent the night and had our Thanksgiving meal with my husband’s family. I have the CUTEST nieces & nephews ever, and we had so much fun playing with the 4 of them:
We had my brother-in-law (who is an awesome photographer) take some family pictures (did you notice my new “headshot” on my sidebar?):
Then on Thanksgiving evening, we drove up to my parent’s lake cabin. We spent the rest of the weekend there relaxing, working on craft projects (like painting 9347223482734 sticks for the other 22 centerpieces that I’m working on…). Buckley just LOVES snuggling near the fire:
And of course I had to include a picture of my sweet potato bird…(I swear my husband thinks I’m CRAZY for taking pictures of these things, but I thought it was so funny!!)
I didn’t like that Buckley was showing off his (lack of) manhood in the picture my brother-in-law took above, so we tried to get some other pictures once we got back home on Sunday:

Great pics! Especially love the pup and kid looking out the window and the pups in front of the fire. My cats do the same thing. Get a fire going and they come out of their snoozing spots and plop themselves in front of the fire. Happy Birthday as well! You don’t look a day over 19! Hope you have a grand day.
