As you know, I’m an Autism Support teacher, for kids in Kindergarten – second grade. This requires LOTS of energy, and most days I don’t get a lunch break. I’m usually not too hungry (I snack when the kids are in the room), but once the kids leave at 3:45…I am STARVING! It’s awful, I honestly feel like I need to eat everything in sight! I was so excited when I discovered the new Slim-Fast shake:

Slim-Fast just released it’s BRAND NEW shakes – and new meal & snack bars as well! They have a new system called the 3-2-1 system. It’s really simple:
3- Eat 3 nourishing snacks a day (like fruit, veggies or a Slim-Fast 100 calorie bar)
2- Drink 2 shakes or eat 2 meal bars
1- Eat balanced meal a day (they suggest 500 calories)
Even though I’m not following the plan, those shakes really held me over and helped me fight the urge to actually eat my arm off after school! I also know they’ll help me during this upcoming holiday season. Grab one of their shakes or bars while you’re doing all of your holiday baking, and I’m sure you won’t feel the urge to go for seconds later!
You also don’t have to go to any specialty stores to buy them…I just went to my local food store’s health section to buy mine, and I know I’ve seen them at Wal*Mart too!
