I think half of all pictures I take are of Buckley, so I had to include him in my post title!
Here’s a look at some of the fun we had this week – all through iPad pictures. I post most of these on my Instagram (follow me! Username: christinasadventures) and some of them on my Facebook page. I’m trying to follow along with the Photo A Day July series from FatMumSlim, so that explains some of the writing on some of the pictures:
I finally got to go yard-saling last weekend – and I found all of these for $12… I loooove those vases (all three for $5):
Remember when I posted about how I have a brown thumb and I was so scared NOTHING was going to grow in our vegetable garden? Well we officially got our first vegetable!! We’re obviously very excited:
I have a new addiction, and it’s this salad. Lots of greens, strawberries, toasted walnuts, goat cheese & organic balsamic vinaigrette. YUM!
While we’re talking about food, big changes are happening in my house!! We’re switching to purely eating CLEAN foods! I’m working on reading everything I can … it’s a little overwhelming, but it’s already making us feel better! We made a “clean pizza” (recipe from He and She Eat Clean) and it was amazing!
This is a stolen picture (thanks Michaela!) but I have officially become a Mary Kay consultant!! Here’s a picture of some of my unit members at a meeting this week – I’m super excited about all of the possibilities with this company! I’m working on a new series to help teach some of you the things that I’ve been learning!!
We got to visit with my grandparents this week – my parents just came over from Holland (which is where my grandparents were born & raised). Here’s my mom & her mom … and my grandpa with Taylor & my brother – and his dutch gin! He was so excited
While everyone was having fun, Buckley was mad that he had to stay on the deck instead of having free reign of the yard so he could catch chipmunks:
I also got to have my best friend (since 4th grade!!) and her adorable kids over to swim:

Finally, I found this adorable owl at Target for $3!! Score!

Oh good! I buy concealer from Mary Kay (only like once a year really lol) but I always got it from someone out at school, i didn’t have anyone in the area! I’ll have to hit you up when I run out
