Fall Mantel 2012

I was so excited to decorate my mom’s mantel this year, since I don’t have one of my own!  Remember how we made over her living room a few months ago?  I was excited to dress up her newly white mantel for fall – and I’m loving how it turned out!

That wreath in the middle is really the show-stopper here, and it was a beast and a half to make.  BUT I’m loving the end product, and I’m loving that it can be used over and over again over many different seasons.

I re-used the fall letter frames from last year’s mantel:

The copper pot was a planter for some bulbs a few years ago:

All of the corn husks were bought from a local farm:

What do you think of my fall mantel this year?  Leave a link to your fall mantels – I’d love to see them!

  5. That wreath is just lovely! Makes me want to go pull out my glue gun and make one for myself. I have a very small hymnal that we used at the church I attended growing up – it would make a really small version of that – I just might do it!
