Are you ready for my first ever video tutorial? Please be kind – it’s so obvious I’m not a professional! And it’s totally unedited (yes I know it’s obvious). Yikes. I’ll do just about anything for you ladies!
I am slightly obsessed with a great smoky eye! It can be made with all different colors, and can be darkened or lightened depending on your comfort or the event you’re attending.
A disclaimer before you watch: I am not a trained make-up artist. I love how my eyes look with this technique, and I’m simply sharing how I make my own smoky eye. There are many variations on this technique – this is just mine!
You can make a smoky eye with any brand’s items, but I personally believe that Mary Kay has the best products. Here’s what I used in the video – click on the picture to find more details about the products or to purchase.
Eye Primer & Highlighting Powder
Hazelnut & Granite mineral eye colors:
Black Pearl mineral eye color & black eyeliner:
Lash Love black mascara & the most amazing brush set you will ever own!
If you have any questions about doing your own smoky eye OR if you have questions about the products used – please e-mail me or leave your question in the comments!

Great video! I totally suck when it comes to doing much with my eye make-up so it always looks the same. I’m going to go home and practice now
