How thrilled I am to being hanging out at Christina’s today! I remember discovering her when I had to pick up my jaw after seeing her bathroom makeover on Instagram. Oh, that brick wall. Christina is proof that with a little bit of love and creativity, any house can be made a home.
While she is snuggling her brand new baby (sigh) I’m going to tell you a bit about me.
My name is Cami and I blog at TIDBITS, where I share beautiful home decor ideas and inspiration for do-it-yourself living.
Let me give you a general run down of the kind of projects and content you can expect to see from me at TIDBITS. If my style or what I do resonates with you, and if you love to learn new DIY skills, I’ll leave a place for you to sign up for updates below. You can also find me at all the social places you like to hang out.
I like to define my style as a mix between a Farmhouse in France and a Cottage on the Coast.
You can check out all my home tours HERE. This image below came from my Spring Bedroom . . . linen lovers . . . you’ll want to come see this!
My kids will tell you, my favorite colors are blue and white. Anyone else? Check out my Summer Living Room tour.
DIY is how we roll, and that usually means we thrift and upcycle a lot! One of my favorite transformations was this painted hutch. You should see the before!
Making free printables for you all brings me so much joy! You can print these Days of the Week Closet Dividers for free. I’m hard at work on another one, and it’s gonna be good!
I started my blog with sewing as the foundation. It was my favorite hobby until we became homeowners. 😉 . But I love to share simple sewing tutorials still, like these DIY Pom Pom pillows.
I craft on occasion too. But it usually happens as a way to beautify my home, or even the outdoors. Check out these recent plant markers.
Any other organizing junkies out there?! Doesn’t a neat and tidy space make you so happy? One of my favorite posts, Baking Cupboard Organization. A label maker is my weapon of choice 😉
Because a DIY’er has gotta eat, I share recipes on occasion too! Like this perfect-for-summer light and healthy chicken salad. You might also notice a “Food and Recipes” tab on my site. My sister now runs the food section of TIDBITS and shares Instant Pot recipes that will blow your mind.
I’m all about adding special seasonal touches to your home. DIY your own patriotic pillow, with this simple ink transfer technique.
We have woodworking projects, big and small – thanks to my Mr. TIDBITS. I love these Antique Cutting Boards he made for me!
Every once in awhile I bust out a fun project for the kids or to do with the kids. For example, no-sew applique t-shirts, in any shape you can imagine.
You might be surprised to hear of my most popular post, and it has nothing to do with DIY, but everything to do with relaxing – which is important too!
The Top 10 Clean Feel-Good TV Shows to watch on NETFLIX. I still stand by these ones! Let me know if they are your favorite too!
Before my sis was running the food side of things, we wrote a cookbook together! Instant Pot recipes galore! Let us teach you how to use and love your electric pressure cookers! Find out all about it and where to buy it HERE.
I would sure like to get to know you better! Please introduce yourself to me and keep in touch with all the latest and greatest TIDBITS by subscribing to my email updates. You’ll be the first to know!
