When we think of fall color, most people automatically jump to orange. While that’s all well & good, your house might just not look right with orange decor! Or, if you’re like me, you might just not be the biggest fan of orange.
I’ve gathered some fall color inspiration for you – and you may just find that one of these color schemes works better for your home than the standard bright orange décor. All of these work so well as we begin to transition our homes from summer to winter.
Each color scheme below shows a color inspiration card, a picture of it in practice, and a room that it would work well in. All of these rooms include stunning window treatments from Hunter Douglas custom window treatment from Décorview (see bottom of the post for more information)
MONOCHROMATIC:
I love the use of greens with neutrals like this color palette here! You could easily tie this in with fresh greenery & white pumpkins – just like this beautiful tablescape:
This color scheme would work beautifully with a room that’s already decorated with subtle greens and neutrals:

TWO TONED:
Pick two colors (such as blue and green) then pair with neutrals.
Blue and green may not seem like fall colors, but they look beautiful when paired with neutral fall accents:
This look would work really well in a room that already has some blue hues.

BRIGHT & BOLD:
You can get funky with this color scheme! Have fun, be bold, and throw the typical fall colors out the window.
Just pair these bright & bold colors with something that’s typically associated with fall (like a pumpkin), and have fun!

This usually works well in a room that doesn’t already have a strong color scheme:
