This farmhouse family room decorating shares simple & creative ways to decorate with vintage, reclaimed, and new farmhouse decor. Tobacco baskets, faux greenery, chippy wood and more.
Our family room was due for a little freshening up this summer, but I didn’t want to really do a full makeover on it. I was able to switch up the decor for some fresh farmhouse and vintage finds, and I love the new feel!

I had the priveledge of connecting with Becky from Curtis Creation, and she asked if I could use some of her farmhouse home decor items in my home. I took one look at her shop and was like “Um, absolutely YES and how in the world can I not pick everything from the entire store?!” I knew you guys would love her shop as well.
You’ll see more of her items in our bedroom refresh (coming soon) but I couldn’t wait too much longer to share her shop with you friends. I loooove her faux greenery – it looks right at home next to my *real* succulents which will probably be dead in a few weeks. (eyeroll)
But my most favorite addition? That tobacco basket! I am in loooove. It’s part of a set, and this is the smaller one. I’ll be using the bigger one in our bedroom, and I can’t wait!
This space finally makes me smile every time I walk past it – and it’s because it’s a mix of all of my favorite things. There’s new items, vintage items, vintage inspired things, and greenery. And the combination of all of these things led to a space filled with interest and texture. I love mixing all of these elements to obtain a truly lived in and comfortable feeling in a home.
